Day order
Thursday
Thursday. Historical CoD seasonal drops have often landed Thursday morning PT. Season 05 already did, on July 23. Today is a briefing day, not a fake launch day.
Title weeks
CS2
If it is a Tuesday in North America, treat the evening as a possible update window — Valve often ships midweek, and Patton will not invent a patch that has not posted. Midweek scrims and online cups are the usual watchlist while a Major is not in session.
Watch: Premier Season 5 placements, Tuesday patch window, Active Duty map notes
VAL
Act 5 is young in late August. The first two weeks of an act are when the ranked distribution is noisiest and when a new agent or map, if one shipped, is still being learned in scrims. If the optional match feed loads, today’s upcoming games appear on the home board. If it does not, this page stays on the act calendar.
Watch: Act 5 ranked climb, agent/map notes, optional live match feed
WZ
Late August is mid-Season 05 if the two-month cadence holds. That is usually when a mid-season balance pass lands — Patton will not list weapons as nerfed unless you check the official notes. Watch the estimated September close if you are chasing a seasonal badge.
Watch: Season 05 ranked window, midseason estimate, loadout restriction notes
APX
Mid-August is early Season 30. The split date had not been posted when this file was written — treat late September as a watch window, not a confirmed clock. First weeks after a season drop are when legend and weapon changes are still settling.
Watch: Season 30 split window, ranked soft reset, map notes
R6
The week of August 17 is a TTS week. That is when operators and map tweaks are public on the test server and not yet law on live. September 1 is the hard date on this board.
Watch: Y11S3 test server, Operation Split Fire launch, ranked 3.0 reset
How to read this page
Day order is a habit, not a patch note. Title weeks are the current season context. The look-ahead list is the dated calendar from today forward. If a line says estimate or watch, it is cadence math. If a line names August 17 or September 1 for Siege, or August 18 for Valorant Act 5, those are announced dates.
