What this board tracks
Patton tracks Valorant as an act clock, not a league broadcast and not a Riot mark. Season 2026 Act 5 began August 18. The first two weeks of an act are when the ladder is least stable: placements are still landing, and any new agent or map is still being learned in scrims rather than solved on the ranked queue.
Ranked reset
RR resets at each Act. Placement matches set the new rank. Act badges from the previous act stay on the card. This page will not tell you that a badge moved because the homepage is impatient, and it will not publish a hidden MMR table.
The close date
Riot has not locked the exact Act 5 close. Recent acts have clustered near 56 days, which points at mid-October. The calendar lists October 13 as an estimate. If you are chasing an Act badge, treat that as a watch, then read the official patch notes when they post.
Optional match feed
The homepage attempts a community upcoming-match API. If that request fails, the home board says the live slate did not load and keeps this act calendar. This title page does not invent a series to stand in for a failed feed, and it does not scrape brackets.
What we will not do
No official logo. No fake viewer count. No “agent tier list” generated to look current. Agent and map names appear only as season context when a patch has actually shipped.
